The Opportunity

A few years after the launch of L’Oréal’s overarching industry loyalty program, the LEVEL Loyalty Rewards website wasn’t looking its best—and hair professionals weren’t feeling the love like they should have.

The Insight

In order for L’Oréal to maintain trust with its engaged and aesthetically-minded membership base, their loyalty program needed a makeover to offer an easier-to-use, consistently-branded UI.

The Solution

DCG ONE partnered with the client to give the UX and design some serious detangling, reshaping, and color correction. In addition to cleaning up the inconsistent branding, we clarified the different checkout experiences for ordering items versus signing up for classes, and implemented a “Wishlist” functionality to empower audience listening for hot products and classes. We even added a host of new features along the way, including custom class request forms, point gifting between members, and a brand-new hub for education.
