MOD Pizza | Store Signage Program
During a period of rapid growth and expansion, MOD Pizza needed a more efficient way to brand, sign, and message new stores, all with unique floor plans, while also establishing strong store connections to each of the local communities it serves.
With a purpose-led business model, MOD is a pioneer in the fast-casual pizza segment. The model is a key differentiator for the pizza chain. Signage not only needed more efficient shipping and distribution, it also needed the right in-store placement for optimum story-telling impact.
DCG ONE helped develop and launch a marketing portal to facilitate more effective distribution of all retail signage to all stores. To better visualize messaging and signage opportunities in new concept stores, DCG ONE developed virtual reality (VR) experiences. Now, the brand story could be told with consistency, and the unique spirit of each community could be captured accurately. DCG ONE also helped develop and illustrate the Book of MOD employee manifesto, facilitated the launch of a new MOD loyalty program, and supported the development and launch of MOD’s first “Impact Pizza.”
MOD’s marketing team, company stores, and franchisees can view, order, and manage in-store visuals and campaigns across the country, with comprehensive reporting and outputs on any substrate that the designers can imagine. MOD’s Impact Pizza raised more than $50,000 for the Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that works on teen and young adult suicide prevention initiatives.
